We have put in the work to ensure that Eco Confetti is made from renewable sources, eco friendly practices and will naturally compost.
You can also rest assured that our accessories and packaging, even our labels are all recyclable and/or naturally compostable.
That's why you won't see confetti cannons (made with iron), toxic products coated in chemicals or plastic anywhere on our site.
Metallic Confetti
What is metallic confetti made of?
Metallic Eco Confetti get it's sparkle and shine from the cellulose of responsibly farmed eucalyptus trees and will break down like a leaf.
Metallic Eco Confetti is home compostable which means it breaks down in any environment without the need for commercial compost or recycling plants. Vegan, non toxic and certified for cosmetic use so it’s safe on your skin.
How is it Sourced
Made using sustainably sourced and FSC certified materials. Designed, made and packaged in Australia from overseas materials.
How long does it take to decompose?
The confetti will breakdown when in contact with soil or waste environments where
micro-organisms are present. There are so many factors that go into decomposition that we can't give an exact timeframe. In compost and landfill conditions we have found that the colour will fade in roughly 1 week leaving the cellulose layer which will take a further 2-3 weeks to completely break down. The confetti will take longer to break down in dry conditions. TUV certified biodegradable in fresh water conditions.
Petal Confetti
What is petal confetti made of?
We use several types of petals and leaves in our petal confetti blends.
All petal types that we use can be sent Australia wide per Australia's
quarantine laws.

How is it Sourced
We source all of our petals from organic farms.
How long does it take to decompose?
Like any plants in nature, it really depends on the weather and the
environment. In wet weather the petals will generally break down within a
few days. However, in dry conditions the petals can last for weeks or
months.
Tissue Paper Confetti
What is tissue paper confetti made of?
Non-toxic and acid free tissue paper which has been made using eco friendly processes.

How long does it take to decompose?
The confetti will breakdown when in contact with soil or waste environments where

In compost and landfill conditions we have found that the will take approximately 1-2 weeks to completely break down. The confetti will break down faster in wet conditions and conversely, will take longer to break down in dry conditions.
Water Soluble Confetti
What is water soluble confetti made of?
Non-toxic, food grade rice paper
How is it Sourced
Made using sustainably sourced and FSC certified materials. Designed, made and packaged in Australia from overseas materials.
How long does it take to decompose?
With a good rain shower or hosing, the confetti will wither up so that it's no longer noticeable. Just make sure it gets wet on grass as it can be slippery on hard surfaces when wet. Certified biodegradable in fresh water.

Our Packaging
Because we care about our environmental impact, Eco Confetti uses sustainable packaging that can be recycled or naturally composted when packaging and delivering your products. We also recycle and reuse materials we receive in the process of operation.
